El Castillo Gold Mine La Fortuna Gold Property El Sastre Gold Mine Castle Gold Corporation (CSG: TSX-V) is a gold mining, exploration and mine development company. Its primary asset is its 100% owned El Castillo open pit, heap leach gold mine located one hour drive north of Durango, the capital of the state of Durango, one of Mexico's most prolific gold and metal producing states. We are currently in production and expect to announce commercial production levels of 15,000 ounces per year. Now the focus is on a phase 1 expansion to 30,000 ounces per year in early 2009, and phase 2 expansion to as much as 60,000 ounces per year in the second half of 2009.

Also in Durango State, is the company's 100 % owned La Fortuna gold, silver and copper advanced stage exploration project. This project hosts numerous high grade intersections of gold, silver and copper over intersection widths in excess of 150 feet from within an historic diamond drill database of 121 drill holes, the majority of which boast significant intercepts of gold, silver and copper. Twining holes drilled in Q2 2008 are expected to validate the historic work done, and provide the company with a 43-101 compliant Indicated resource on this past producing 10,000 hectare property.

Castle Gold Corp also holds a 50% interest in the El Sastre gold mine located 1 hour outside of Guatemala City, Guatemala. El Sastre attained commercial gold production in late 2006 and is expected to produce from 5,000 to 8,000 ounces per year as Castle Gold's share.
