Argonaut Gold is a Canadian gold company engaged in exploration, mine development and production activities on gold-bearing properties in Mexico and Guatemala. Argonaut Gold's primary assets are the production-stage El Castillo Project and the exploration-stage La Fortuna Project, both located in the State of Durango, Mexico. Current annualized rate of production for El Castillo is 30,000 ounces and improvements to the operation look to improve annual production to 50,000 ounces in 2010.
